Together for a healthier world

If for any reason, the event could not take place on the dates scheduled our contract with the venue is bound by the following clause:

Force Majeure Event: an event, or a series of related events, that is outside the reasonable control of the party affected including (but not limited to) failures of the internet or any public telecommunications network, hacker attacks, denial of service attacks, virus or other malicious software attacks or infections, power failures, industrial disputes affecting any third party, changes to the law, directions or orders by a governmental or judicial authority with appropriate jurisdiction, major epidemic or sickness, quarantines, disasters, explosions, fires, floods, riots, terrorist attacks and wars;

Should this happen, we would work with the venue to reschedule the event, to take place within 12 months of the original date. Reservation would be retained and only refunded if the awardee was unable to attend on the new date.

It is the responsibility of the awardee to ensure they have their own insurance cover for travel/accommodation. As the organiser we do not provide travel and accommodation.

If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, then standard cancellation terms for the participation fee will be applied:

Less than 40 days from the date of the event – 50% cancellation charge

Less than 30 days – 100% cancellation charge

In certain cases, we as the organiser, will consider carrying the delegate fee over to the following year.
